Just a Quickie

I was reading an interview with Charles Poliquin, one of the godfathers of pretty much every training program and strength training method out there, and he so eloquently stated an oldie but a goodie:

“Insanity is defined as doing the same things over and over again and expecting different results.”

He talks about the people who go to spin class and expect to get skinnier legs – after doing spin class for the past few years.


I touched on this in a previous post on overactive fatigue versus mechanical stiffness a few months ago, and I thought it always rings true when I can get backup from the best in the business.

Speaking of the best in the business, I talked with a good friend of mine in Atlanta, Bill Sonnemaker. He agreed to do a guest post here in the future, so stay tuned to see what one of the top personal trainers in North America has to say.
