Random Stuff PLUS The Best Exercises You will Ever Do!!


Look at you, you lucky dog. You get twice the bonus from this blog post: a random events post AAAAAAND a “Best Exercises” post!! Who’d a thunk it.

Exercise: Posterior myofascial line stimulation

This shows a simple progression using a cable to do a front bend and extension using the pelvis and scapula to create tension across the thoracolumbar spine and make it good and strong. It also builds strength in flexion/extension, as well as rotation. Wicked!!!! This exercise is the pimp of the nation, and the cable is turning tricks like it’s nuthin’. Word.

1. Random conversation of the week:

Female trainer: ” Hey, that last client you were training, is he gay?”

Other female trainer, butting into conversation: “No, he’s just British.”

Wow, that just happened. Did that blow your mind??? Because it blew mine when I heard it.

2. “Muscle Imbalances Revealed” has been available for about 4 months now, and I’ve been getting a few comments from people all over North America saying how they liked the presentation I gave on Myofascial Lines. Well guess what?? We’re looking to re-release it soon, and I’ve included a new presentation on how to assess and train the myofascial lines to get maximum benefit!!!!

Calm down there, sport. I know you’re excited, but you’re gonna make a fudgie if you don’t settle down.

3. I’ve developed a new man-crush on Tucker Max. For those who don’t know who he is, consider yourself warned: he has some of the best, yet most vulgar and self-centered stories about himself getting drunk and picking up women you have ever heard in your life, but they are sooooooo funny!! He has a book out called I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell, which was on the New York Times Best-Seller list for about 4 years, and he has a new book out called Assholes Finish First. You should seriously get these books. I’m serious, get them. They will change your life.

4. I’ve been very confused lately. Yesterday, my boss said “You look like you’ve been losing weight, you look good!” and then I had someone within like a 5 minute period say “You look like you grew!! You’re getting huge!!”and then another person say to me “Wow, you’ve lost some serious weight!!”  WHICH ONE IS IT PEOPLE!?! AM I GETTING BIGGER OR SMALLER!?!? TELL ME THE TRUTH!!! PICK ONE AND STICK WITH IT!!! This is all just one big conspiracy to mess with my head. You’re all in on it, I know!!! You’re all freaking me out! What time is it? Where am I?? Who are you!?! Never call here again!!!
