So How Did You Spend Valentine’s Day?? – Challenge


I’ll tell you how I spent it: Working a 13 hour day, capped off with an epic Boot Camp with some pretty cool people. I was thinking of wearing a tight Valentine’s themed T-shirt for the day, since it was something worth celebrating and costumes are always beneficial, but I thought I would look more like Stiffler’s dance off opponent in American Wedding than a bad-ass personal trainer:

I also spent it challenging random other trainers to a carioca-for-speed contest, with the thought process that I have the fastest feet in the West. I went 4 and 0 for the entire day, remaining the undisputed champion of the art of the Carioca, reaffirming my status (as mentioned last week) as the Fred Astaire of Fitness.

Poor Ryan felt like he was going to hurl his lung across the gym floor for about 10 minutes after those two 20 second bursts.

I’d like to issue everyone out there a challenge: if you have the juevos to pull this one off, I want to see who out there can move faster than yours truly. Make a video of yourself or have someone else take it of you performing a carioca for speed, then post it on my Facebook profile. The one with the best feet who could be considered close to my caliber, I’ll send you a special prize at the end of the week. If you want to know what that prize will be, check out tomorrow’s post and you’ll have a really good idea of what it is.

Challenge thrown, bitches!!!!! Let’s see who steps up to the plate 🙂

  1. I joke with clients that I’m like Ginger Rogers, because to demonstrate and lead the exercise I do it backwards. No high heels though.
